1997 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado TX KZJ95 Turbodiesel for sale on BaT Auctions – ending February 21 (Lot #230,880)

This 1997 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado TX is a right-hand-drive example that was exported from Japan to Mozambique by a former member of the US Foreign Service, and it was imported to the US in 2025 and subsequently acquired by the selling dealer. Finished in Desert Dune Metallic with gray lower-body cladding, the truck is powered by a 3.0-liter 1KZ-TE turbodiesel inline-four linked with a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. It also has a front brush guard, roof rails, running boards, pop-out rear quarter windows, an independent front suspension, disc brakes, six-spoke 16″ wheels, automatic climate control, woodgrain trim, gray cloth upholstery with patterned inserts, and power windows. This 90-Series Land Cruiser Prado shows 203k kilometers (~126k miles) and is offered with service records from the truck’s time in Mozambique, export and import documents, and a clean Virginia title.

The five-door body is finished in Desert Dune Metallic (K03) with contrasting gray lower cladding, wheel arch flares, and bumper covers. Additional exterior details include a front brush guard, a rear window wiper, a left-front fender–mounted mirror, roof rails, running boards, power-adjustable side mirrors, and pop-out rear quarter windows. Areas of faded paint are noted on the hood and roof, there are scratches on the windshield, and close-up photos of flaws on various surfaces are presented in the gallery below.

Six-spoke 16″ wheels were reportedly mounted with 265/70 Cooper Discoverer Road+Trail AT tires in preparation for the sale. The truck was factory equipped with an independent double-wishbone front in addition to a solid rear axle with a four-link rear suspension. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with vented rotors.
