The cabin has been retrimmed in brown leather with patterned cloth inserts, and additional modifications include 17″ Konig Ampliform Y-spoke wheels, Feal coilovers, Swift springs, StopTech front brake rotors, an IL Motorsports frame brace, a Moroso aluminum overflow tank, a RoadsterSport II muffler, a Raceseng weighted shift knob, a SmartTop module, and a Hard Dog receiver hitch. The car is finished in Highland Green Mica and is powered by a replacement 2.0-liter inline-four paired with a six-speed manual transmission. The heated seats have been retrimmed in brown leather and featured patterned cloth inserts along with contrasting stitching. Matching leather extends to the door panels. The seller notes that sound-deadening material has been added to the trunk floor, and additional interior revisions include a Raceseng weighted shift knob, a SmartTop module, an IL Motorsports center console, and auxiliary connectivity. Additional features include a Bose sound system, a CD stereo, cruise control, and air conditioning. The seat belts do not fully retract.
The steering wheel features a thicker rim wrapped in Nappa leather. It frames a 150-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,750-rpm redline as well as gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 83k miles, approximately 42k of which were added under current ownership.
The replacement 2.0-liter inline-four was fitted in 2016 by by Tustin Mazda in California, and the seller tells us that the engine is an NC2/3-spec item. It is equipped with a Moroso aluminum overflow tank as well as a RoadsterSport II muffler. The battery was replaced earlier this year.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission. An IL Motorsports frame brace has been added. The seller tells us that the clutch was replaced in 2016 and that the clutch cylinders were replaced in 2023.
